I'm back with an interesting interview today. There's something I really wanted to do for a long time now and I think finally we got to the point when I can can give you an insight of the fan's of Star Trek. We always looking forward to interviews with actors and their connection with Star Trek. Although we all know that Star Trek is personal in many level, and we fans have our connection too. I have had the fortune to do collaboration with Damien aka The Irishtrekkie, He was very welcoming when I approached him with this interview.

What is your first memory about Star Trek? How long have been the fan of the show?

My first memory would have to be seeing the USS Enterprise D for the very first time so that has me being a fan since 1987. At that time I would've been a very young kid and seeing spaceships and aliens was pure magic.

How did your life change since you discovered Star Trek?

Star Trek always promoted curiosity and having a wonder beyond humanity and hope of being the best you can be. I believe part of this has definitely affected me growing up. I would not be involved in YouTube. I would not have met so many wonderful people in the community and getting to meet and talk to people involved in making Star Trek a reality so in hindsight it has had a huge effect personally on me.

Favorite series, movie, episode, captain, villain?

TNG will be my favourite series, first contact would be my favourite movie, I have too many favourite Episodes to just pick one, Picard would be my favourite captain and Lore would be my favourite villain.

Any memorable encounter with a Star Trek actor/actress did you meet?

Meeting Gates McFadden was an absolute pleasure but the most memorable encounters have always been with behind-the-scenes people like John Eaves to mention but one.

What made you make videos on YouTube?

I simply wanted to share my passion of Star Trek starships and I kind of thought I'd be good at it lol....

As a youtuber which of your video are you the most proud of?

My very first starship review, the Genesis of everything that is me so it still holds a special place for me and it's the one I'm most proud of.

Which part of your Star Trek collection that you the most proud of?

My Funko Pop Picard and Riker as they were gift from a friend I met through YouTube.

Any dream collectible on your list?

Would love Kirks survival jacket from Beyond.

Apart from Star Trek which other sci-fi shows that you like?

Doctor Who, Firefly, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Red Dwarf and the Expanse to name but a few.

If you would be able to live in a world of Star Trek, what would you do and who would you be?

Helmsman, give me a tall ship and a star to sail her by.

And a tricky one for the end... what does Star Trek means to you?

Hope, hope for what we could be.
