I don't like the word "content creator," at least not in the fashion that people usually refer to individuals on YouTube or other social media platforms. I certainly never considered myself as such, but in a way I am, as I am putting out content in text, video and now in audio format for people to enjoy all across the globe. Surely whatever I do, at the end of the day these are just snippets from my mind.
As a disclaimer, I never considered myself an expert either, nor someone who know everything. I'm just a simple guy with a passion to a small(ish) sci-fi show that I get inspired and motivated by. It's simple as that. When I started all of my creative journey such as the website, the channel and also the podcast I simply wanted to try new things to channel my passion towards the show that I love so much, also to pay homage and tribute to the fact that it helped me a lot becoming the person who I am today.
I consider myself really lucky, as I've got to achieve more than I ever imagined. I've got a passion for writing and also making videos; I've met so many amazing people in the community; I've attended conventions and also been in places I've never imagined I'll be able to go. Still makes me smile that the one step I've made in 2016 exploded in a way that changed my life for the better. Certainly at that time I've never had an intention to start a podcast, never even been my idea... just like making videos. I thought it would be super easy, but it was not. It's still not, but certainly got easier as sitting front of the lens and talking to a camera is just weird sometimes. Making a podcast is super fun though as now I have a better understanding about who am I really and what I really want to achieve with my creative endeavours.
A lot happened with me as an individual, as a person in the last 4 years as well. I've moved at least three cities and one country in order to push my life forward. I've learned new things along the way, I've met people who enriched my life and also whom did not help feel good about myself... it's life after all. I've also got married to a girl who I still, sometimes I feel don't deserve and I'm so grateful that she shares her life with me... Life itself is a great journey that we all embark on and we all have our story to tell. As an individual we always change, we all become different people, all through our life... hang on, this is Doctor Who! :) The point still stands, we all change and that's good, we gotta keep moving and remember to all the people we used to be... and this is still Doctor Who! :) You can say I have a non-Trek related side that strongly focused around The Doctor too.
The Journey itself never ends, but of course things always change and sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst. I believe that whatever the journey I have front of me as a person and as a creative person is gonna be something that I can look back with confident smile on my face and say "yes, I'm proud because I did that!"
...and the adventure is just beginning!
