The Journey - Part 1

It's been almost 4 years since I've started my journey as a "content creator" with this website that evolved a lot in my eyes. The journey followed by a test flight that turned out to be a fun ride on YouTube and recently I have just embarked on a brand new audio adventure that is called Warm Blanket.
I love how my passion started to turn into something beautiful over the years, how everything was forming to become a more complex entity that I have ever imagined. The website itself was a big step for me as I always wanted to make one. When I was first playing around with the idea of building it, I've had a kinda Star Trek themed website in mind where you can learn about the show, the episodes, the cast and the crew, read news and other things... basically I was looking to play it like I was the creator of startrek.com... I know, I have had high expectations. :)
The website has gone through a few iterations ever since that summer day back in 2016. It has evolved at least 3 times in terms of design and with smaller alterations here and there. I love the fact that I can make it my own no matter what. As a graphic designer it does give me a creative outlet in many way, also having that freedom that I'm basically my "own boss" making decisions here is more than liberating. I remember one of my jobs where I have had some ideas of making changes or offering alternatives and it often got turned down with a note "I don't think so..." which made me kinda grew apart from my profession deep down. With trekkerprise I have total freedom and what matters more, I'm happy with what I do. :)
And it comes down to writing as well. It's a really intricate way to express ones emotions, feelings and also help ones journey to get more focused and even dive deep into those delicate details.
Recently with the new Star Trek show, Picard, I've got to experience a much deeper connection with my passion to the franchise and also writing. I love talking and thinking about the show and it is great to make a video, but somehow writing made everything better for me. It allowed me to focus my thoughts much better and in a more meaningful way. I really enjoyed doing these reviews in a weekly basis and now that I was doing it more often I've got hungry to do more, and that is something I really want to focus more in the future.

To be continued...
